The Dom Camara quote is one of my favourite quotes. However, I had already posted it in an earlier post. Hence left it out here.

Was thinking about the 3rd quote. And wondering why it happened exactly the other way around for me. At 20, I was a hard core capitalist and now at 34, I am starting to appreciate the role our communists at the centre are playing, like a policeman doing a speedcheck on globalisation and the rest. They may, even if unwittingly, help in ensuring that some of the fruits of growth of the country reach the lower end of the spectrum also.

@belt mathai - Strangely enough , two parties Iam attracted to in India today are the CPM and the BJP. But Iam getting disillusioned with the Marxian comrades. Dont let all their class talk fool you. Most of the issues they seem to be making the loudest noise on ( LPG fuel subsidy, PF rate etc ) benefit only the middle class, not the really deserving.
